Our winter weather has begun and the mist rolls in over the mountains settling in the canyon. The redwoods thrive on this moisture and gather enough water to last throughout the dry months between May and October. They are magnificent trees and the oldest living thing on the Earth. Some of these trees are over 2000 years old. Imagine they go back to before the birth of Christ.

Uma sereia encontrou um livro de Freud no mar.
Ficou sabendo de coisas que o rei do mar nem sonhava.
Quando a sereia leu Freud, sobre uma estrela do mar, tirou o pano de prata que usava para esconder a sua cauda de peixe. E o mar então deu uma festa.
E no outro dia a, sereia achou um livro de Marx
dentro de um búzio do mar.
Quando a sereia leu Marx, ficou sabendo de coisas que o rei do mar nem sonhava, nem a rainha do mar.
Tirou então a coroa que usava para dizer que não era igual aos peixinhos.
Quebrou na pedra a coroa. E houve outra festa no mar

A festa não era de santo, núpcias, nem nada...
Não, a festa era do sol!

Vieram todos, veio muita gente: mulher, homem, criança, rico, pobre, bonito, feio, gente de alma cheia de sol para dar a este testemunho de sua gratidão; gente sem sol na alma para recolher dele algumas réstias; gente com alguns reflexos de sol querendo outros reflexos suscitar para si.
O sol entusiasmou-se, derramou-se por sobre cabeças, ombros, sorrisos, pés nus, seios virgens que sem malícia saltavam dos corpetes para se tostarem como duas donas.

Alguém chorava não por ter chegado tarde; não por não ter visto as mulheres de vestidos coloridos, cabelos pretos, oiros ou castanehos, dançando ao arfar de seus seios; não por ter o coração cheio de sol, escasso de sol, ou sol nehum...
Alguém chorava, unicamente, por ter faltando lugar ao sol para um...
